Support from Archie George Foundation

What We Offer

Finding the right help can feel overwhelming. We offer practical support to help disabled people and their families, parents, carers and siblings understand their options and take the next step.

You can contact us yourself, or a professional can refer with the appropriate permission. Tell us what you need and how you would prefer to communicate; we will discuss suitable support and availability with you.

Ways to talk with us

Email conversations

Talk through your questions at your own pace. We can help explain information, explore possible routes and agree practical next steps by email.

Teams meetings and calls

We offer meetings and calls through Microsoft Teams, arranged as part of your referral. Let us know about communication, sensory or accessibility needs when requesting an appointment.

Our public telephone number is coming soon. In the meantime, please use the referral email to arrange contact.

Face-to-face meetings — planned for the future

We hope to offer face-to-face meetings as the Foundation grows. Locations, accessibility arrangements and booking details will be shared when this service is ready.

Practical help and advocacy

Advocacy appointments

Support to explain what matters to you, prepare questions, understand information and make your voice heard. We can discuss the help you need for conversations or appointments with services and agree what support we are able to provide.

Help with filling out forms

Help understanding questions, organising the relevant information and completing forms. This can include education-related paperwork, a Max Card application or a grant application, depending on the support needed.

Help to access grants

Explore grants and other practical help that may fit your circumstances. We can help check criteria, understand what evidence is requested and identify application or professional-referral routes.

The grant provider makes the funding decision; support with an application cannot guarantee an award.

Help navigating the system

A conversation about where to start, who to speak to and what to do next. We can help you find relevant services and resources, make sense of the information available and prepare for the next step.

Getting started

Email referrals@archie-georgefoundation.co.uk with a brief description of the help you are looking for and your preferred way to communicate. Please read our referral privacy notice before sending personal information. Avoid sending detailed medical records or other sensitive documents in your first email.

Professionals can use the downloadable screening form. Families do not need to use the professional form to ask for help.

We have a responsibility to act on safeguarding concerns and may need to report them to the appropriate services. The referral inbox is not an emergency service: call 999 for immediate danger, or visit Urgent help.

Archie George Foundation is being developed and is not currently a registered charity. We are taking the work forward one day at a time.
